One hundred years ago, a few generations ago, we were all on the farm or on the ranch. If the country industialized We left the farm and went to work in the factories. The factories are all gone, "China" now, so what to do but go back to the farm? Thats where we learned to self reliant, self-sufficient. When it broke, you fixed it by God himself or wouldnt get the job done. She worked from dawn till dark, and not get were watching television, if you had one. All the virtues and values, way of life has been diluted and watered down each successive generation, until we have a lot of Fat whining wimps have become. Quit looking for the government, can do for you, and start doing for themselves. Right? How much land does a family need to raise enough food to survive and possibly exchange? An acre?
